4th Annual Patriot Party at Cuatro Estrellas!

Every July 4th for the past 4 years, we invite some of our dearest friends out for the long weekend and enjoy a true ranch style American holiday party!  Each year the families have multiplied.  We started out with just one baby the first year and now we are up to 6!  Needless to say, it gets a bit wild - especially b/c they are all 4 and under.

It was such a blast and we had a great time - as always.  There are daily ranch rides on the buggy to search for animals.  This year we saw our two cows - escapees from the neighboring ranch.  They were quickly named Blackey and Oreo.  It was a daily event to check on Oreo and Blackey.

Trips to the barn to see the big boy toys and the new pool table and speaker system for good dancing!  Swimming in big pool and baby pools.   Lots of delicious food and beverages of all sorts.  Games.  Wimbledon.  Every nights for most of the mommies and late nights for most of the daddies!  Late night hog hunting.  Fireworks.  Smores.  Sparklers.  Trips into Fredericksburg.  Winery visits and just lots of good friend and family time!

Luke and Caroline were getting very excited the night before all of our guests arrived!

It was finally time!  Luke's best bud Avery arrived!

But not before Mom could get some quick shots with the kiddos!

Then it was time for some pool fun!

Thanks Aves for filling the pool.

Nothing like some fresh watermelon during pooltime!

Buggy ride.  Let's see what we see today!

Flags lined the drive in!  Tradition each year - so awesome to see it from the main road.
 Kiddo shot at the dam.
Our classic ever-growing July 4th kiddo shot.  We are missing sweet Brooks in this one.  He unfortunately got an ear infection and had to go home.  We missed him and his parents!

Bathtime!  How many kids can we fit in the bathtub???

Time for some fireworks and smores!

The girls got away and enjoyed and Art and Vino class with artist Jill Holland.  It was great fun!

 Parker slept the entire time.
Our masterpieces!  I am sad to say mine got destroyed when my other half forget he put it on top of our truck when packing up to leave and it flew off somewhere... So, sadly I have no painting... :(  I cannot wait to do another class!

Dave's birthday complete with a scavenger hunt, bourbon slushees, and...
 PEANUT BUTTER PIE!

What fun!  Cannot wait until next year!  Next year we will squeeze two more infants into the mix.  At least 8 kids under 5!
Can we do it?  Yes.  Can we do it and get any sleep?  I am not so sure about that one!
