Dirty Dogz

This past weekend, the whole Tanner clan tried out a new eatery called Dirty Dogz.  I had a special coupon from Living Social and this place got great reviews.  It is in a boxcar in Olmos Park area and it is so cute.  Tiny little place with just 4-5 tables.  It is in a row of boxcars and each boxcar had unique offerings from ice cream to massage parlor to cupcakes and hot dogs!

We started off with some delish hot dogs.  I had the BBQ hot dog and Ben enjoyed the Bacon Double Cheeseburger hot dog.

Luke had the Boring Dog.
I guess it was a little too boring b/c he tried to feed it to Ben.
After such a full lunch, it was time for a break!
Dirty Dogz was delicious and a fun find.  We met the owner - a pharmacy student who decided to open her own business her 3rd year of school.  Fun to support such an endeavor.

Sweet Lina Lou

Our sweet Caroline is just 12 days old and she is as precious as ever.  After a busy day of sleeping, she is up keeping me company watching the ridiculous Bachelor...
And she is shocked that he chose Courtney over the cute, bubbly Aggie!

Day 6 as a family of four!

I am just so in love with my wonderful family.  Ben and I are so blessed with our precious little energetic son and our adorable new baby girl.

Today Ben and I went to Baby Day at the Alamo Drafthouse movies with Caroline - who was a doll and slept during the entire movie of "Safehouse."  Ben and I enjoyed a mid-day brewsky and some pizza during the show.  Luke enjoyed the park with his favorite babysitter and made some new little friends at the merry-go-round.  What a fun afternoon!

Then Luke had a blast running around the backyard and playing with Ben in his most favorite monkey boots!  (Caroline and I napped - thanks Ben!!)

Just a sweet day at casa de Tanner!

Award for the nastiest restaurant in SA!

Ben and I were looking for a place with an indoor playground/restaurant to take Luke and let him run around today - since it is so cold and gloomy here.

We read about this place called Chacho's - supposedly this huge indoor Mexican/pizza mexcla of a place with a gigantic playground.  I was thinking like a Pancho's or something like that.  I wasn't really expecting much but I figured it would be okay.

I don't mean to be rude but Disgusting... They did have an enormous indoor playground and Luke did enjoy himself but the place was so dirty and yucky I lost my appetite almost immediately... plus it didn't help that it had a disclaimer on the menu that said something like, "Please note that you may find small ground rocks in the refried beans."  Ben said that this was not abnormal b/c of how the beans are harvested, etc... Okay... well how come I have not seen this on other Mexican restaurants I have eaten. So, anyways... I stuck it out and we split this huge thing of nachos.  (I avoided the beans.  Not that rocks are awful and I am sure I have accidentally eaten some from time to time - when I was 2 - but it is the principle of the matter.)  Now I feel so sick - and I really only ate a few bites of the nachos and some tortillas.

I guess there is a reason why I have never heard of this place nor been recommended to go by my friends.  Ewwweee...

Cute, cute, cute...

I know I have a way to go - I haven't even delivered yet... but I am so looking forward to work on my non-prego body (and, therefore, wardrobe) over the next year... I know I have mentioned this site a few times on my blog but check out some their latest fashions.  Just fabulous!!!  http://www.shabbyapple.com/

37 weeks

Well, I am officially full term now.  Yay!  I am still on bed rest but at least we are out of the major danger zone.  I am so thankful for all of the visits, dinners, calls, emails - you name it.  I couldn't do it without my family and friends!  And, my husband has been AMAZING!  So thankful.
