Happy Anniversary!

Four years ago I married this guy...and, yes, he is this fun!!! We have already had so many adventures and special memories - I cannot believe it has only been 4 years (in a good way!) I am so thankful to have married a man who makes me continue to look forward to our future together! Oh the places we will go...

This is War...

Don't you just love mice when you watch "American Tail"? Doesn't everyone feel sympathetic to rats after seeing "Ratatouille"? And, of course, who doesn't enjoy the sweet little mice in "Cinderella"?

Well, cutie cute cute goes out the window when they rudely decide to make a home in your kitchen!

About 1 week ago I went to make a sandwich and I saw that something else had already helped himself to our bread... There were bite marks in our loaf... So, I quickly threw that away and denied any further thought. The next day - the tortillas were attacked. I knew we were in for a fight. So, I went and bought some sticky traps and put peanut butter on the traps. Then I also baited him with a tortilla with traps surrounding the tortilla. Well, the sucker got the peanut butter and tortilla but no traps! So, then we moved to snap traps and poison bait. Once again, the peanut butter was gone but no critter. UGH!

This guy is good... TOO good.

We are calling out the big guns... The exterminator is coming over today, and this rodent IS GOING DOWN!

Plus I am not going to lie... I am having nightmares about this situation.

Let's hope Mr. Stinger can find our rat(s)/mouse/mice and take them to the mattresses!

Hands up! Scream LOUD!

We went to Fiesta Texas and rode our hearts out on some crazy roller coasters! It was such a blast. A great night out with my hubby! Even with the long lines, we enjoyed chatting and having some kid-free, light-hearted, FUN time together! Talked about compelling things like - what people were thinking when they chose that tattoo, the nerve of that person cutting in line, how we were slightly disappointed about the low quantity of zombies chasing people at Fright Fest, and whether you were going to put your hands up or not... I will say that I put my hands up on the Poltergeist THE WHOLE TIME! However, I am paying for it now... what a body-jerker!

So much fun with my hubs!!

It is time...

Wish us luck... and sleep! We finally made the transition to a toddler bed. Even though Luke has been climbing out for months, we were hesistant to commit to "complete" freedom. But, here we go...
